Victoria and Joseph’s wedding at Belle Mer unfolded beside the water on one of those New England days made for being outside. Sailboats moved across the harbor as friends and family gathered for their outdoor Catholic ceremony, giving the entire celebration a distinctly coastal Rhode Island feeling. Victoria brought an incredible energy to the day. She wore a beautiful gown with a dramatic bow along the back and delicate sleeves, but it was her personality that stood out most. Joseph was calmer by comparison, taking everything in beside her. There are some moments in life whose significance only grows with time, and watching these two get married felt a little like that. Later, Victoria’s father had the room laughing through a speech that was equally funny and sincere. By the time Victoria changed into her reception outfit, any remaining formality disappeared.
