Embark Films began with founder Dmitry Gordievsky filming weddings on his own. Over time, he learned that the best moments rarely need much direction. Be prepared, pay attention, and let the wedding unfold.
As Embark grew, so did the team. Filmmakers and editors were brought in, trained, and given the opportunity to develop their craft through weddings across the East Coast. Some have gone on to build careers of their own. Others have been with Embark for years and remain an important part of the studio today.
What started with one filmmaker has grown into an experienced team, built around the same simple approach:
do good work, take care of people, and never make the wedding about us.
